Dec 2007 | The welcome we received was excellent... The house was a wonderful retreat with everything we needed. It was a great place for a rest or a great base for walking.

Sep 2007 | The cottage itself was excellent and the neighbours very friendly. There was a lot of interesting walks, and country houses to visit in the area together with many places to eat and drink. Despite the bad weather we greatly enjoyed our holiday.
We were very impressed with Sykes Cottages administration in making the cottage available to us at very short notice because we were unable to go to a previously booked cottage because of the floods.
Mrs Williams, Buckingham, Buckinghamshire
Jul 2007 | This property was clean, comfortable and well equipped and an ideal base for many days out in the area, particularly well positioned for Alton Towers which was just a short drive away.
